Laptop question?

My 2 month old laptop is a Sony Vaio and I'm greatly happy with it except for one minuscule, yet incredibly irritating flaw. Somehow, the paint has already worn off on just this one area of the space bar - would it be at all possible to send it anywhere to get it repainted, or would Sony perhaps do it for an x amount of money? I know, this sounds quite bratty perhaps? However, whenever i look on my laptop to type a paper, etc. i get positively bothered and focus on that one part on the space bar. Admittedly this is truly a weird question, if not very pathetic but i would greatly appreciate any help given as it bothers me to the highest level! Thank you in advance!
