Where is "Wandering Wanda" a WW2 aircraft?

It took flack during the battle of Myitkyina and later flow supply runs from Myitkyina (to China I ume). A friend of mines's grandma was reading me this letter where her ex fiancee was telling her about this plane which bore her name. The letter was sent from Myitkyina on september 22nd, 1945. He stated that the plane was to be decommissioned the first of the next month (Oct. 1st, 1945). Not sure what type plane or what group. Wanda is now 87 and living in Willoughby, Ohio. Would love to give her a picture of her name sake plane. Thanks!
