Is it time for Roger Federer to add something new to his game ?

After having seen Roger playing at London ATP world tour and losing at Del Potro and Davidenko, i was wondering if time has come to find a better tatic against other top ten players, especially the two handed backhand players and to solve weaknesses in playing backhand returns and volley that may cost decisive points.
